[url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/142455/personmain.jhtml"]Guillermo del Toro[/url]'s "[url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/movie/473340/moviemain.jhtml"]Pacific Rim[/url]" and [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/84517/personmain.jhtml"]Peter Jackson[/url]'s "[url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/movie/376322/moviemain.jhtml"]The Hobbit[/url]" are just two of the films included in the presentation, but the movies will actually share more than the stage in common. You may recall that del Toro was once set to direct the Jackson-produced, two-part prequel to "The Lord of the Rings," but after dropping out of the project, he will now present the film that replaced "The Hobbit" on his schedule. In the lead-up to the presentation, the two Warner Bros. films each released posters for the event, with the "Pacific Rim" sheet showing off the enormous, robotic Jaegers for the first time. For his tribute to Japanese kaiju films, del Toro has enlisted Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam, and Rinko Kikuchi to suit up in futuristic robots called Jaegers to take on the Earth's monster problem. The first poster from the movie gives us a sense of the look and scale of the Jaegers, as well as another look at the costumes worn by the pilots. For "The Hobbit" and its Comic-Con poster, the image evokes classic imagery from J.R.R. Tolkien's first novel set in Middle-earth. In the poster, we see Ian McKellen's Galdalf walking through the Shire, the home of soon-to-be hero Bilbo Baggins. Both films are expected to have huge presences at this year's convention. We have yet to see a single frame of footage from "Pacific Rim," so most fans have their hopes set on that, while Jackson may be looking for some redemption after the CinemaCon uproar centered on his 48 frames per second format. [url="http://all4xs.net/"]RePress[/url] turns any WordPress blog into a fully operational proxy. It’s a useful tool for people whose speech is restricted by oppressive regimes, but also handy for downloaders in the Netherlands, the UK and other countries where ISPs block The Pirate Bay. The plugin makers, hosting company Greenhost, [url="https://all4xs.net/uncensored-website/"]showed off[/url] this capability by running their own Pirate Bay proxy on its servers. However, not everyone was happy with this censorship workaround. Because the proxy allowed the Dutch public to access The Pirate Bay, the Hollywood-backed anti-piracy group BREIN [url="http://torrentfreak.com/webhost-refuses-to-censor-its-own-pirate-bay-anti-censorship-tool-120630/"]demanded[/url] that Greenhost take the proxy offline. However, the hosting company refused to do so and said it would only comply if presented with a court order. Last Friday, such an order arrived. The Court of The Hague [url="http://www.scribd.com/doc/99518950/BREIN-Ex-Parte-Beschikking-Tegen-Greenhost"]issued an ex-parte injunction[/url] and gave Greenhost 6 hours to take down all the proxies through which the public can access The Pirate Bay. If the company fails to comply it now faces a 1,000 euro fine per day. The Court order is only directed at the proxies that were hosted by Greenhost. The WordPress plugin and proxies directed at other websites are allowed to stay up. Greenhost CEO Sacha van Geffen [url="http://webwereld.nl/nieuws/111087/rechter--tpb-proxy-greenhost-moet-ook-offline.html"]is disappointed[/url] by the Court’s decision and the fact that his company wasn’t heard in the matter. The hosting provider will now [url="http://all4xs.net/repress-proxy-to-the-pirate-bay-is-offline/"]consider[/url] what judicial steps to take next. Previously the Dutch Pirate Party fought a similar injunction in court, but [url="http://torrentfreak.com/court-forbids-linking-to-pirate-bay-proxies-120510/"]without success[/url]. After the court heard both sides the proxy ban was upheld. In addition, the Pirate Party was forbidden from encouraging the public to circumvent the Pirate Bay blockade and from listing or hosting tools that enable others to do so. While it is clear that BREIN will do everything in its power to enforce the Pirate Bay blockade, the effectiveness of their course of action is questionable. Even worse, it might even be counterproductive. By Rob Markman Usher's stepson, 11-year-old Kyle Glover, was the victim of a jet-ski accident in Atlanta on Friday, which left him critically injured, and now doctors have pronounced him brain dead. TMZ is reporting that Glover, who is the son of Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Foster, has not experienced any brain activity since he was admitted into the hospital two days ago. According to reports, the pre-teen and a friend were floating in inner tubes on Lake Lanier in Atlanta when they were struck by a man on a jet ski. Glover was unresponsive when he was taken out of the water and airlifted to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston; his friend, an unidentified 15-year old girl, was treated for a cut on the head and a broken arm. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources said that alcohol doesn't appear to be a factor in the accident and the newspaper also reported that the man on the jet ski and Glover were a part of the same group on an outing at the lake. Foster and Usher (born Usher Raymond) were married in 2007 but divorced in 2009. The two are reportedly both present at the hospital. Many of Usher and Foster's celebrity friends took to Twitter on Sunday (July to express their deepest sympathies. "My deepest prayers go out to Tameka, Usher and both of their families right now," Diggy Simmons wrote. "Wishing @TamekaRaymond's son godspeed recovery. horrible news to hear," Roots drummer Questlove added, while television personality La La Anthony wrote: "Praying for @TamekaRaymond and her family. Usher’s 11-year-old stepson is currently in critical condition after a disastrous jet ski accident in Atlanta on Friday (July 6). Kyle Glover, son of the R&B singer's ex-wife Tameka Raymond was hit by a jet ski while riding on an inner tube with a friend on Lake Lanier in Atlanta. The 11-year-old and a 15-year-old girl friend were riding the inner tube on the lake when a 38-year-old man riding jet skis struck them, hitting Glover in the head. He was unresponsive at the scene, and was airlifted to Egelston Hospital where he remains in critical condition. The girl, who was also transported to the hospital immediately, received a cut on a head and treatment for a broken arm. Several celebrities have sent best wishes to the family via Twitter, including Questlove who wrote, “wishing @TamekaRaymond's son godspeed recovery. horrible news to hear.” Atlanta's 11 Alive reports that it's too early for cops to tell whether or not charges will be filed.
