Cut him some slack. He is an entertainer - and I get a feeling the Web Sheriff attempting to sue TPB again will be entertaining.

Canadian Police Tolerates Piracy For Personal Use
Malicious Intent replied to method77's topic in Filesharing News
That is really sweet - especially since Canadians pay tax so they can copy for personal use. -

10th most popular tracker on Mininova - and it is only that low because The Pirate Bay holds 4 of the top 10 spots. This is a big loss for sure :( -
Prosecutor Announces Charges Against The Pirate Bay

They will be pleased about this. I don't doubt that they continually push their luck deliberately for this kind of publicity. That wont be too easy from behind bars. -

I surprised they are still fans, but I guess when you have a tattoo, you are fairly committed! -

FBI will have anyone you call a terrorist detained
Malicious Intent replied to method77's topic in Kickin' it
So if you can get the name of a few fellow passengers just before you travel, it is pretty easy to keep border security occupied while you stroll on through :) -
It was an excellent film, well timed. Judging by the way Gordon Brown's hand was shaking with nerves in parliament today, we may have finally passed the stage of those in power controlling the fear. Sadly you can't see his hand shaking in this video as it is under the headlines, but I know how Method likes a good Westminster Parliament Punch 'n' Judy show, so here is the video anyway:

Beginner's Guide On 'How To Use Bit Torrent'
Malicious Intent replied to DudeAsInCool's topic in Filesharing News
Good guide. I like the way it takes all the decision making out of the equation - lots of guides get too caught up in the pros and cons of millions of clients. Such a good guide that I wont even question why it has both BitTorrent and uTorrent in the list of clients, or ABC, which was last updated 3 years ago. I will, however, raise a smile at the legality disclaimer at the end :) -

Up to 180,000 people were members of the private www.oink.co.uk website. They paid to upload and download music, some of it not yet released by record companies. The home of a 24-year-old IT worker was raided in Grange Road, Middlesbrough, was raided in a low-key operation this morning. At the same time his father's home and his employer, a large multi-national company, were also raided. The website's server, which was based in Amsterdam, was also closed down by Dutch police. I'm a massive Killers fan. Not a new song, but one of my favourites by them: Indie Rock and Roll

With the amount Radio 1 is playing this, it is hard to miss. I was going to see them play in Bar 12 in Swindon, but my shift pattern conspired against me. :(
