  1. He could have at least picked a better looking dog. Let's hope his cellmate in jail treats him right. http://www.fox21.com/Global/story.asp?S=3456745
  2. Care to explain why Stern is an a'hole because one of his fans decides to call into a show with a phony phone call? Did Howard actually make the call, or perhaps he was holding this individual and his family hostage with a ransom demand of hosing a news program? The people who are directly responsible for this happening is CNN itself for hiring screeners, producers, and reporters who's true calling should have been cleaning the grease pit at their local McDonalds. Most shows that conduct live on air interviews do it with a 3-5 second delay in the event that one of those 7 bad words happens to sneak through or to head off any prank calls. I find it difficult to believe that an organization the size of CNN can't afford to equip their audio booth with a delay box or provide caller ID for their phone systems, especially considering the fact that Janks has done this to them countless times. As far as feeling sorry for the anchor, save your sympathy for someone who is truly deserving of compassion. This woman broke the 2 most basic rules of conduct associated with being a professional on air personality: 1. Don't go out of your way to point out on air mistakes!! 2. No matter how embarrassing the error might be, move on and continue with the rest of the program. Her frustration with the situation obviously got her rattled, and helped the caller achieve what he set out to accomplish from the start. Personally, I thought her overreation to the comment was funnier than the call itself.
  3. She just wanted to know if he was finshed with her vibrator yet.
  4. Good to see that the management of McDonald's was willing to give these people 14 weeks off to attend the festivities. Enjoy!! http://www.milkandcookies.com/links/31636/

  8. There are strong rumors that Cruise (and Nicole Kidman for that matter) are gay. It is said that people who work for Cruise must sign an agreement stating they will not disclose their observations about what takes place in the Cruise household to the press. Furthermore, it is also rumored that these same employees are administered a daily lie detector test to verify whether or not they have been faithful to that agreement. In the press, one reads accounts of how aggressive and litigious Cruise is in regards to squelching such rumors. Many writers are wary of going over an unstated line and incurring this actor's legal wrath. It could also be assumed that Cruise is working the other side of that line and validating his heterosexuality by making public his relationships with women. What is on the line, of course, is any actor's acceptance by the American public as virile, hetrosexual action-oriented figures whose fee for services run into the tens of millions of dollars. Should it be revealed or proven that one of these actor commodities is gay their marketability would plunge.
  9. Does this Court ever make a stand on anything? Once again they kick an issue back to another authority, this time suggesting Congress tackle pot laws. Even as they disregard overwhelming state electorate opinion. People are using medical pot as a last resort when traditional treatments through corporate drugs can't help. Otherwise law-abiding citizens are now branded as criminals. I don't object to locking up criminals, nor do I object to helping defray medical costs for those who can't afford necessary treatment. But I do reject the government's notion I should now have to pay for the imprisonment of people whose "crime" was trying to attend to their own medical problems in line with the laws in their states.

  12. Grand jury indicts mother who hired stripper for son's birthday party A mother faces criminal charges after she hired a stripper to dance at her 16-year-old son's birthday party. Anette Pharris, 34, has been indicted by a grand jury on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and involving a minor in obscene acts. The boy's father, the stripper and two others also face charges. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050529/ap_on_...HNlYwMlJVRPUCUl
  13. FOREMAN, Ark. - A man was injured when he jumped from a car traveling 55-60 mph in an effort to retrieve a cigarette blown out of a passenger-side window. Jeff Foran, 38, suffered trauma to his nose, eyes and chin after leaping from the car Saturday night and landing on the eastbound lane Arkanas 234 near the Oklahoma border, state police Trooper Jamie Gravier said. The driver of the car, Jerry Glenn Nelson, 44, of Haworth, Okla., said Foran had asked him earlier in the evening to be a designated driver after a night of drinking. "Foran did the right thing and asked his buddy to drive him home. Foran showed up at Nelson's home about 45 minutes earlier saying he (Foran) was too intoxicated to drive home, Gravier said. "Nelson said Foran was smoking a cigarette when it blew out the window and Foran jumped out the window to retrieve the cigarette. Nelson said he was driving between 55 and 60 mph when Foran jumped out," the trooper said. "It was obvious he was extremely intoxicated and this man was hurt," Gravier said. "If anything could make him stop smoking, this should be it. The man is lucky to be alive."
  14. Ironic considering the fact that Robin Williams is notorious for stealing other comedians material. I read a story where some stand ups have stopped and walked off stage in the middle of their acts when they saw him come into the club. Equally ironic is why anyone would want to imitate that retard.
