I've only recently been introduced to the Man Band..... although they have been around for decades. I really like the long jam sessions they seem to be notorious for. I just wondered if any of you have any information about them or points of interest to share?

I played this out within weeks of release/buying it.... played it very little since, but certainly a classic.

Being from the same small part of the planet.... I have to say the man's a genius!

It's pretty cool.... Cue up the CD on pause and hit play at the third roar of the MGM lion... I think there are probably some places selling DVD's with it all done for you .... but it's more fun to do it yourself

great album..... it set a lot of standards for things to come but was well ahead of its time in what was achieved technically.... and it's still selling :) It also can be used as a synch soundtrack for the movie the Wizard of Oz..... surreal stuff and some uncanny co-incidences between lyrics and movie....

those things are addictive !!

arrrrrrrrg no ... not 'folk' Traditional and folk are probably different I think..... folk being a more ummmm..... a more popular commercialised form of traditional Traditional is more hard core :)

Surely the whole illegal thing about downloading music from anywhere is the breach of copyright.... so if those sites are using the money collected to pay for copyright then it should be legal?? The record industry seem to be throwing their toys out of the pram because they've lost the monopoly on the market.... they'd do much better to spend their money on rethinking how the industry works and investing in new marketing plans instead of constipating progress by throwing a tantrum.
