I'm happy to report that my flu is finally subsiding - what a lame way to start the year. But now that is over, I plan to make up for it bigtime on the boards at Beatking. No doubt I will be watching the game between the Cardinals and Steelers this weekend, too. How about you folks?

Go Steelers!

Nothing taxing.

I paid the taxes on my house yesterday. It seems that you never own anything. You just rent it from the government.

I'm working both days this weekend. I worked overtime all week too. This is the first time I worked any OT since last summer. I'll probably invest my extra earnings in hard drives and ammo.

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
