Congratulations to the administration and the mods on passing the 100 member mark! Starting a new site is tough sledding for a while and it takes hard work to keep it going. It also takes a lot of patience to withstand the disappointments a new site is bound to experience when it struggles to grow. All of you who tirelessly post new and interesting items are to be commended. I think it's beginning to pay off now with an increasing number of new members, and I salute you. I'd also like to invite newer members to join in the forum discussions....the more comments posted, the more angles and attitudes to play off of.

I was wondering why I saw all this BeatKing spam on other "particular" website. I was thinking it was some ghetto thing .::BeatFactory::. was pushing, like a personal website and such. I hadn't even looked at it until DAIC provided an invite. I have to say that so far, I'm enjoying it. I dig the color selections (#4 for me), the great members and the calm, enjoyable environment. There's no stress here. Just info, music, and good times. Thanks.

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
