does any one know the name of the song that is on the trailer of "the Billabong Odyssyey"?

this song also plays some where between 30-45minutes though the DVD.

the guitar in this song is mad!

This song is when they're in France!

LYRICS

If i was listening,

I know i shouldn't be,

Made all the threats again,

The pain is definate,

If i was listening,

I know i shouldn't be,

Made all the threats again,

The pain is definate,

Leave it all if you want any more,

If it was all on the first time,

its the last time

If i was born to believe it,

i'll believe it

Leave it all if you want any more,

If it was all on the first time,

its the last time

If i was born to believe it,

i'll believe it.

Thats about all the song all though some parts of it are missing because the song gets drowned out.

Does any one know the name of this song?

Thanks heaps,

Just to wake the thread up...

Here's the clip. I can't make out the lyrics any better and I can't find nothing on the music other than the actual show music was orchestrated by a single person. I'm sure that doesn't apply to the trailer or...

Show music by - Dorian Cheah

Anyone?

The initial song is "King" by the band Fireball Ministry. It sounds like the first song is different from the second. Was it the second one you were looking for?

Anything for a fellow BK'er. :D

Hmm. I tend to like the solos of Dream Theater and (older) Fates Warning. These are more of a progressive nature.

These are also good:

Joe Satriani

Steve Vai

Alex Skolnick (Testament)

Chris Oliva (R.I.P) (Savatage)

Dimebag Darrel (Pantera/Damageplan)

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
