Kelly Rowland is set to appear on "The Queen Latifah Show" Wednesday (December 18), and she’s dropping some big news. E! News broke the story early today, that the Destiny’s Child singer is in fact engaged. This comes as no surprise as Rowland was spotted in November sporting a tremendous engagement ring. Since then, rumors have been swirling surrounding her relationship with manager, Tim Witherspoon.

According to E!, Kelly told Queen Latifah, “He put a ring on it.” Rowland who is 32, told Latifah, “It’s been a while… We’ve kept it very, very low, for years, to be completely honest.” The Grammy-winning singer should’ve been surprised herself, as her future-husband’s unconventional way of proposing turned out to be via Skype!

“He asked me first on Skype,” she admitted while laughing, “and I was like, ‘We’re so far away from each other.’” Rowland was away in Bulgaria when she received the life changing call. However Rowland was not hesitant in the decision making, “But it was so late, I remember we were both just kinda like, honestly, just staring at each other. And he asked me, and it was just that simple to say yes. I was like, 'I got my best friend to ride through life with… He really is my best friend."

Rowland has had her fair share of ups-and-downs in the relationship realm. The ‘Talk A Good Game’ singer and current X-Factor judge, dated former Dallas Cowboy star, Roy Williams for an extensive period of time. She has also been linked to the likes of Nelly, Dwyane Wade, Pusha T, jeweler Fawaz Gruosi and even The-Dream.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
