Hades Events come into effect next Saturday at Liquid with another deliciously cooked line-up locally together with America and France; world wide delicacies...The promoter explains...

You caught one hell of a crowd at Vitalic and the official Tribu after hours and now you're presenting the Maltese with two rather more chic performances Linda Lamb and Lab Insect. Do you think people understand the effort of such a promoter and are ready to pay a Lm6.50 ticket?

- Consider that Linda Lamb will be coming from New York. Yes, we're talking a premier live performance with electric guitar and piano here, not the most casual or regular performance. More of a concert, I comfortably admit. The cost to bring quality is always high but some

promoters including myself tend to risk for quality, perhaps building a name on this eventually, Rome wasn't built in one day I think. Moreover it was a bit difficult to convince Linda Lamb to come in the middle of an American tour but she'll be here just the same to grace the Maltese with her own voice.

Nice expectations for the crowd. What will the delicacies include?

- Lab Insect varies a lot, you'll be prone to listen to an electro intro than techno and even acid house at its best, the blend seems to be interesting.

And Linda Lamb?

- Electro but not the typically Gigolo electro; more of a Fischer Spooner type. See it's a one man band on electric guitar and piano so that means improvisation topped with her sensual voice -- "the sexiest voice to ever

be produced over a Gigolo record!" (DJ Gigolo press release)

What do you think of local DJs that had a part in shaping the electro influence on Malta and who are the most prominent in your opinion?

- Junior B together with Darren from Auralbots and JD Frank I think were most consistent in the last couple of years. I think electro is more of an evolution or let's say continuation of techno. Not that they don't have their own characteristics as style, of course they are different, but

these three DJs managed to keep in the same line of thought, not change completely -- they have kept the underground alive by keeping the general techno and electro interesting and highly spirited.

What is Hades already planning after the 16th October?

- Simply the return of Vitalic and another separate event featuring a big artist in 2005. Enough for now.
