Justin Timberlake, Snoop Lion Honor Charlie Wilson At BET Awards

Generations of R&B were bridged tonight as Justin Timberlake and Charlie Wilson performed together on the 2013 BET Awards. After presenting The Gap Band singer with the Lifetime Achievement Award, Justin, Pharrell and Snoop Lion paid homage to Charlie with an all-star rendition of "Signs" followed by songs like "You Dropped A Bomb On Me" and "Girl You Knock Me Out."

Indie Arie kicked off the musical tribute to the singer affectionately known as "Uncle Charlie." She sang "There Goes My Baby" with her trademark guitar while Jamie Foxx, who won an award for acting earlier in the night, grabbed the mic for "Yearning For Your Love." Stevie Wonder then took the stage and kicked things up several notches with "Burn Rubber On Me (Why You Wanna Hurt Me)." Snoop Lion and Pharrell hit the stage for "Beautiful," a song which introduced Charlie to many young fans.

R&B has had a huge night so far at the BET Awards. Earlier, R. Kelly took the stage for a surprise medley of his extensive discography. Kellz treated fans to songs like "Ignition Remix" and "I Wish." Mariah Carey performed her new single "Beautiful" with Miguel and Young Jeezy. Robin Thicke kept the good times going with this chart-topping "Blurred Lines" with T.I. and Pharrell while Chris Brown kicked things off with Nicki Minaj.
