Frank Ocean In Concert - New York, NY

By Sowmya Krishnamurthy

Frank Ocean previewed several new songs last night in a concert in Munich, Germany and fans at the BMW Welt performance uploaded the goodies online.

One song is a mellow groove that includes lyrics about California, while the other sounds like a break-up song. "She broke up my heart last week," Ocean can be heard singing.

Frank broke out last year with his debut album Channel Orange, which features the hits "Pyramids" and "Thinking About You."  He was up for 11 Grammy nominations, including six for his album. The offering debuted at #2 on the charts with 131,000 digital copies sold.

Frank will take the stage at Drake's annual OVO Fest in Toronto in August. Frank and James Blake will kick off the first night and Drake will close the two-day fete. Before that, the Odd Future singer will continue additional tour dates on his "You're Not Dead...2013" tour through Europe and the U.S.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
