On the rare occasion that it wasn't raining in New York, Beyonce and Blue Ivy took advantage of the sun and were spotted out and about in the city Tuesday (June 19) afternoon. Now that Blue Ivy is not as camera shy as before, the one-year old was captured looking directly at the cameras with her unabashed stare.

Wearing a green dress and strappy sandals for the summery day, Blue Ivy was pictured being carried by her nanny in midtown Manhattan. She was also captured being held by her mother, who was clad in an equally summery outfit with a printed skirt and gold sandals. It looks like Beyonce was heading to or from meeting with her makeup artist Mally Roncal. Rumor has it that Queen B is working on a top secret makeup line with Mally.

Although there is no word on Bey’s upcoming album, Ne-Yo spoke candidly to Billboard about the pop diva’s next opus. "I'm still putting stuff together for Beyonce's album. They're still trying to figure out what they want that to be, which I'm not mad at,” he said. “Beyonce's the kind of artist where you're not gonna see it till it's right. And her fans -- they love her so they'll be patient.”
Maybe she’ll spring the album release on us, following the footsteps of her hubby Jay-Z.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
