Mac Miller is one of several artists set to drop an album on June 18, along with J.Cole and Kanye West, but since Watching Movies With the Sound Off has already leaked, he's now offering it up as a stream on his website.

The album includes appearances from Tyler the Creator, Earl Sweatshirt and many more. And though June 18 will be a big day, Mac isn't without worried about the competition. “I’ll tell you who is going to have the best first week: Kanye West,” Mac declared on the June 12 episode of "RapFix Live."

The stream is visually accompanied by a movie about sea turtles, which Mac feels, “best interprets the album’s direction.” In terms of the impact of his album, the Pittsburgh rapper wants it to “have it last 10, 20, 30, 40 years,” and “to make something that people can listen to for a while."

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
