Kanye West has finally been doing some promo work for his upcoming album Yeezus and it was only a matter of time before the extended Kardashian clan joined in on the fun.

In Touch reports that Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian's baby daddy, and family friend Jonathan Cheban are starring in a new music video Kanye is shooting.

The video is supposedly based on the thriller "American Psycho" and is being shot in Brooklyn. “Kanye spent the weekend shooting an American Psycho-inspired video in Brooklyn with Scott Disick and Jonathan Cheban,” an insider told In Touch. According to the source, “Jonathan actually gets killed in the end.” Spoiler alert! The source adds, “Kanye wants the video to go viral and drum up more publicity for his album."

Kanye has been promoting the Yeezus album (slated for a June 18 release) via non-traditional methods. "We ain't drop no single to radio. We ain't got no big NBA campaign or nothing like that--Sh-- we ain't even got no cover," he told the crowd at Governors Island over the weekend, referring to the very minimal cover art for Yeezus. "We just made some real music." He went on to say, "When I listen to radio, that ain't where I wanna be no more. And honestly, at this point I can give a f--- about selling a million records, as long as I put out an album y'all can rock to all summer."

The rapper/producer debuted new music on "Saturday Night Live" and at the annual Met Gala.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
