Kanye West celebrated his big 3-6 this weekend in NYC with a slew of celebrity friends. Ye threw down with Jay-Z and Nas as well as a midriff-baring Beyonce at Miss Lilly's Jamaican restaurant in downtown NYC.

Scott Disick and Kardashian family bff Jonathan Cheban were in attendance but US Weekly shares that Kim Kardashian wasn't at the soiree because she isn't able to travel. "Kim isn't allowed to fly," a source shared with US, because of her pregnancy.

"Happy Birthday to my best friend, the <3 of my life, my soul!!!! I love you beyond words!" Kim shared on Instagram with a collage she made of her relationship with Kanye.

The next day, Ye debuted new music from Yeezus at Governor's Ball in NYC. He opened and closed his set with "Black Skinhead," and also performed three new tracks from his upcoming sixth album. "When I listen to radio, that ain't where I wanna be no more," he said. "And honestly, at this point I can give a f--- about selling a million records, as long as I put out an album y'all can rock to all summer." He then threw in, "Ya'll f--- with that new music?"

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
