Gucci Mane Warns Chief Keef Not To Be Like Him

Gucci Mane is giving his new protege Chief Keef some sound advice...Don't be like me! Gucci opened up in a new interview with Power 107.5 in Columbus and shared that his bad boy image was his own undoing and he doesn't want Keef to follow in his footsteps.

“I take responsibility for some of that bad stigma that comes from me. A lot of the things I have done, I regret. And a lot of it [I deserved]. A lot of it, it be false claims,” Gucci said. “Media take it and make they own assumptions…A lot of things don’t have a lot of truth in them…My advice would be to him [Keef], and any other young guy, is to learn from…try not to do the same thing that I did.”

Gucci and Keef joined forces in May as the youngster was added to Gucci's Brick Squad roster. In a tweet Gucci shared, "Chief Keef newest member of Bricksquad 1017 bmg gbe mpa," accompanied by a new logo for 1017 Glo Gang. An excited Keef reposted the photo on his Instagram account, adding, "#WhatTimeItIs?1017" to let fans know it was official.

At the time of the signing, Gucci was knee-deep in legal issues including being released from jail after being indicted on assault charges. Keef himself has had his own share of issues. He returned home from a juvenile detention facility in March, after serving time for probation violation, but he still continued to post photos of guns after the fact.
