Report: Spears Marries Dancer in Calif.

LOS ANGELES - Pop singer Britney Spears married her fiance, dancer Kevin Federline, in a surprise ceremony, it was reported Sunday.

The wedding was held Saturday evening at a private home in the Studio City area with 20 to 30 people attending, "Entertainment Tonight" said on its Web site.

Nicole King, a spokeswoman for BWR Public Relations, which represents Spears, did not immediately return a message seeking comment.

Spears Said Not to File Marriage License

LOS ANGELES - So, did she or didn't? Britney Spears (news) most definitely got married last week, People magazine reports in its Oct. 4 issue filled with pictures of the pop star and her fiance, Kevin Federline, in wedding apparel and surrounded by family and friends.

What the couple didn't do, according to the Los Angeles County registrar's office, is file a marriage license after the ceremony.

No big deal, says a member of the singer's camp who declined to be quoted by name.

"They're scheduled to file it next week," she told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

Britney Spears Finalizes Marriage

LOS ANGELES - Britney Spears (news) has formalized her marriage to dancer Kevin Federline, three weeks after a hush-hush ceremony that was her second wedding of the year.

Spears' spokeswoman, Nicole King, confirmed Friday that the necessary legal documents were filed on Thursday, although she would not say where.

The "Oops! ... I Did It Again" singer, 22, married 26-year-old Federline at a private home in the Studio City area with 20 to 30 people attending.
