Lil Wayne and the Miami Heat players (not counting his boy LeBron) aren't exactly on the best of terms after he told them how he really felt back in February, but that doesn't affect Weezy's opinions on their athletic abilities. On Saturday (May 4) the sports fanatic told MTV News that the defending champions are more than likely keeping their crown this year.

"You know you cant beat that machine out here in Miami," Wayne responded, when asked about his to pick to win the 2013 NBA Championship, since his Lakers are officially out of the running.

"Nobody can beat that machine, I have yet to see someone beat that machine," he added. "I think the Spurs will give them a run for their money, but ...that machine, the Miami Heat."

Wayne was also asked to comment on Jason Collins' historic decision to publicly announce that he is a gay NBA player. "What it does for sports? It's opening a lot of doors and it's showing that it's a fair world out there," Wayne said. "Just to see how many people came to his support and things like that, that's a pretty fair world out there. Be you."

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
