Charlie Major - I'm Here lyrics

Recommended Posts

The lightning flashed and the thunder roared

and woke me from a dream.

I opened my eyes afraid of the dark

and all that I could not see.

Into the night I cried out in fright

Oh mama I'm so scared

come and hold me in your arms

Protect me from whats out there.

She said I'm right here beside you,

you've nothin to fear.

It's only a storm and soon the skies will be clear

So close your eyes and drift off to sleep

right by your side is where I'll be

as long as you need me I'm here.

In a hospital bed she lays in the dark

thirty years come and gone.

Slippin away with every breath

desperately holding on.

Into the night she cries out in fright

Oh son I'm so scared

come and hold me cause I don't know

What's waiting for me out there

I said I'm right her beside you,

you've nothin to fear

It's only the dark and soon the way will be clear

so close your eyes and drift off to sleep

right by your side is where I'll be.

As long as you need me I'm here.

As long as you need me I'm here.

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
