Starchild was created back in 1999 by Steve Morley, on the back of his success as Dave Holmes on Tidy Records and Steve Morley on Neo Records. He felt the time was right to introduce another side of him to the world - with this new project and different approach to his production. Starchild was born and the first track ‘Redemption’ was an instant success and picked up by Slinky Records in the UK - cementing his name in the trance scene! Further releases followed on Conception Records (Starchild ‘Something New’) and NEO Records sub label DJ In The Mix (Starchild ft Alici ‘Love Don’t Live’). With more big tracks to his name with various other trance projects (Nataraj, DJ Alici, Pathfinder,G-2000 and Nautica) the time had come to spread his wings and explore other musical styles. This exciting journey took longer than expected, and saw him release under a string of artist names and in numerous styles (Techno, House, Pop, Psy Trance and Down Beat). Now fulfilled from these musical adventures – after a 10 year hiatus – he is ready to come home and reincarnate Starchild, renewing his pledge and love to trance music!

Keep your eyes and ears pealed for his new productions! Coming Soon! :)

Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
