It’s a new year. It’s a new look. And – this – is a new Kinky Malinki.

Forget what you think you know about one of clubland’s biggest brands. We’re about to re-write everything....

Kinky Malinki have conquered the world’s dancefloors for a very long time. 15 years this year, to be exact. We don’t do things by halves. When we throw parties, people talk about them. The internet buzzes about them. And the clubbers love them.

That recipe won’t change. But expect this next installment of Kinky Malinki to be our most ambitious Ministry of Sound party to date.

We’ve booked in four huge headliners.
They are X-PRESS 2, SUPERNOVA, ATFC and FILHY RICH
They are some of house music’s biggest DJs. And they’ll all be exclusively sharing the bill for Kinky Malinki at Ministry of Sound.

We’re not going to tell you what those heavyweights have done in the past. You know all about them. What we WILL say, is that Ministry of Sound radio have asked us to take over their airwaves and we’ve relinquished. The entirety of the Box room sets will be broadcast live and uninterrupted ON AIR for Kinky Malinki lovers all over the world.

And before you even think about staying in and switching on - listen to this:

2000 clubbers, four rooms of cutting-edge, hands-in-the-air house music, CO2 cannons, confetti glitter-bombs, state-of-the-art lighting and LED projections.

And when it’s all over and your dancing feet are aching, just think. Once you get home you can switch on the radio and re-live the passion and energy all over again.

Welcome to Kinky’s 2013. Welcome to our future.

X-Press 2 - House Muzik Legends.

Having been at the vanguard of British electronic music for the past 20 years, and conquered clubs, charts, film soundtracks and everything else they've put their talents to, we're absolutely chuffed that they've put together a Ministry of Sound exclusive guest mix to help while away the week until Saturday night!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
