Been bummed about how delayed "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" has been? Well, fortunately you don't have to wait much longer to get your if you want a big sneak peek from the movie.

Paramount Pictures has revealed that those who go see "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters" in 3D when it hits theaters on January 24 will be treated to a little something extra: A four-minute preview of the upcoming "G.I. Joe" film. That movie doesn't come out until March 29, so it is a nice tease. The preview will continue to run throughout the entirety of "Hansel & Gretel's" run.

It will be interesting to see what the focus of the footage will be. Will it be the first four minutes? A snippet from one of the movie's fight scenes? A montage of the film? An extended trailer? Hopefully fans will get to see some Channing Tatum, despite the fact that he reportedly dies off early on in the movie.

Directed by Jon Chu, "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" stars Tatum, Dwayne Johnson, Bruce Willis, Adrianne Palicki, Walton Goggins, Ray Park, Byung-hun Lee, Elodie Yung, Wu-Tang Clan's RZA, Ray Stevenson and D.J. Cotrona. Ever since we caught the first glimpse of its ninja cliff fight scene, we've been dying for this movie to come out, and it finally will in a little over two months.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
