Wes Anderson Confirms Full 'Grand Budapest Hotel' Cast

The full ensemble cast for "The Grand Budapest Hotel" has been assembled, and it's just as impressive as we've come to expect in a Wes Anderson movie. In addition to a cast of Anderson regulars, newcomers like Jude Law and Saoirse Ronan also are going to be featured.

Anderson confirmed the array of actors in a new interview with [url="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/race/wes-anderson-his-life-career-406295"][i]The Hollywood Reporter[/i][/url]. With his latest film, "Moonrise Kingdom," being considered an awards season contender, Anderson seems to understand that his next film has some big shoes to fill.



"It’s a Euro movie. It’s a period picture," he said. "We have Ralph Fiennes, and we have Tilda Swinton and Jeff Goldblum, Willem Dafoe, we have F. Murray Abraham and Jude Law, and we’ve got Adrien Brody, Edward Norton, Harvey Keitel, Jason Schwartzman, Bill Murray, and Mathieu Amalric. And I think Owen [Wilson] is gonna have a little part, too. Oh, Saoirse Ronan has quite a big part. I’m thinking if I’ve forgotten anybody. Yeah, we have a good group."

That's about as much as we know about the film so far. Ronan reportedly plays the lead in "The Grand Budapest Hotel," but as we know from any Wes Anderson film, she'll share plenty of screentime with her esteemed costars. Though Anderson's movies have become a little formulaic, we'd love to see him mix it up a bit this time around. With a cast as good as this, it would be fantastic if this was a comedic caper along the lines of "A Fish Called Wanda," wouldn't you agree?
