He may be “Young, Wild, & Free,” but it looks like it’s time for Wiz Khalifa to not only put his parenting pants on but also to officially put a ring on it, marrying his pregnant fiancée Amber Rose. On Tuesday, the Pittsburgh MC revealed to Hot’s 97’s Angie Martinez that the pair plans to make it official in just a few weeks, prior to the birth of their bouncing baby boy.

The Taylor Gang rapper revealed that he and his bride-to-be would wait until after the birth of their first child to have their actual, decked out wedding ceremony. "When you have the ceremony that's when you can invite the family," he said. "She can fit into a dress and then like nieces, nephews, if we have a daughter one day, she might wanna give the dress to our daughter, but if she's pregnant then she can't do that."

But the dress isn’t Amber’s only reason for holding off on the ceremony. The soon-to-be mom, already in her third trimester, is craving something with a bit more punch than wedding cake. “She wants to get drunk,” said Wiz, with his signature smirk.

With wedding plans and baby showers on the agenda, fans might worry that the rapper may slow his roll as far as his music is concerned. But with his sophomore album O.N.I.F.C. set for release on December 4, it seems the rapper is in for one hectic holiday season. “That’s my other baby,” Wiz joked. And if anyone out there is worrying that daddy-hood has changed the rapper’s style, don’t. Wiz affirmed that no nursery rhymes or baby talk snuck onto the album saying , "I did the music pre-baby but the work and the grind and everything goes towards the baby, though."

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
