While Black Friday is reserved for marathon shopping, Jay-Z and Beyonce spent their Friday showing their favorite basketball team some support. The two spent the night courtside at the Brooklyn Nets game.

Kelly Rowland and Beyonce’s cousin, Angie Beyince, also joined the power-couple at the recently opened Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn. Both Hov and Bey were dressed casually, with him sporting a gray Rodarte hoodie and Beyonce wearing a black quilted leather jacket. The Nets, which Jay-Z owes a small stake in, won by ten points (86-76) against the Clippers, so it would seem that Mr. Carter enjoyed his Thanksgiving weekend.

Jay-Z will also ring in the New Year at the Barclay’s Center, hosting a special concert with co-headliner, Coldplay.

And the family isn’t complete without their daughter Blue Ivy. Beyonce posted photos of baby Blue on Instagram and Tumblr over the holiday weekend, making it a rare appearance for the celeb-infant.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
