Kanye West has released a remixed version of Rihanna’s “Diamonds” where he adds some classic Ye flavor to the popular song.

“We the cause of all the commotion/you're mouth running, but where is you going/what is you smoking man, that ain't potent/what is you talking man, it ain't important," Kanye rips through the beginning of the song. In standard Kanye style there are shout outs to the Illuminati and DeLoreans. He also claims “he’s on his Brad Pitt” and references Tay Zonday’s ‘Chocolate Rain.’

Not to mention Yeezy also borrows the interlude from the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" in this version of "Diamonds." Asserting the Victoria’s Secret show missed him he raps, “Victoria’s Secret show they missed me/voices in my head I need choices in my bed.” During one point in the song he screams out loud at the “voices in his head” and raps about “making it through the hurricane/ so celebrate and light the Mary Jane.”

He rips through the lines with ease over this uptempo remix of Rihanna’s newest hit which can be found on her Soundcloud (http://soundcloud.com/rihanna) page. This song makes it’s debut as Rihanna hit the fourth day of her epic 777 tour which is touched down in Paris on Saturday (November 18).

With her plane full of journalists and fans, MTV News is also along for the ride documenting each leg of the decadent trip with the songstress.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
