50 Cent is stirring the pot of beef stew again. After sparring with Slim the Mobster via Twitter last weekend, Fif took to Twitter again early Friday morning (November 16) to let the world know that the rapper born Anthony Johnson had allegedly been released by Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Records, tweeting, “SLIM U R dropped, you will get the call ths week.DRE's a boss nobody wants 2 tell him. It's OVER ? SMSaudio.”

Southside Slim didn’t appreciate the G-Unit capo’s comment and subsequently fired off his own negative tweets aimed at “feddicent” in rapid fire succession beginning with a subtle reminder that it was already known that he’d severed ties with The Chronic MC’s imprint back in October: “I been off the label since October 17 .... somebody update that dick head @50cent.”

Additionally, Slim made light of Chief Keef standing up 50 for a scheduled video shoot in Vegas for the song "Hate Being Sober," from his upcoming debut, Finally Rich, featuring 50 and Wiz Khalifa, retweeting a tweet with a reference to the Queens native’s sexual preference: "@HipHopDX: Chief Keef Reportedly Misses His Own Video Shoot With 50 Cent & Wiz Khalifa "found out feddicent was gay.”

All told, the Los Angeles-based rapper sent out 50 plus tweets to goad the rapper born Curtis Jackson into responding, but the newly licensed boxing promoter didn’t acquiesce.

50 won’t be able to maintain radio silence, however, after he gets wind of Slim’s most incendiary comment in which the Gang Module Records MC blatantly accuses the multiplatinum rapper of having an affair with recently deceased hip-hop icon and manager Chris Lighty’s wife: “Ok so now im a put some shit out there ... on my Twitterforum feddicent was having an affair with chris lighty wife.”

Whatever differences the two social media pugilists may have, backlash from fans like Yung Taco (@Sn0wChanceNHell) has already started to roll into Slim’s timeline: “@Slimthemobster is it really worth it to disrespect a dead man and his family over some petty beef shit you got ?”

No word on how or when this tweef will end, but Slim is not backing down and neither is 50.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
