It seems like your favorite Upper East Siders can’t get enough of Frank Ocean. On upcoming episode of "Gossip Girl"  titled “Monstrous Ball," Channel Orange will make its debut with five songs, “Lost,” “Super Rich Kids,” “Pyramids,” “Sweet Life”, and “Thinkin Bout You." I think I hear Channel Orange bells ringing in New York City, or at least on the Upper East Side.

Known for his refreshingly unconventional style, Frank Ocean has seen a lot of success in what seems like a short period of time. A chart topping album, 2012 VMA debut performance, Saturday Night Live, penning songs for Beyonce, and being a feature on Jay and Kanye’s Watch the Throne, how does one manage?  For Frank, he muses about it on his Tumblr.

Last month, Pharrell tweeted a picture of the singer/songwriter alongside Jay-Z in the studio. Where the collaboration will end up is yet to be determined.

The Channel Orange themed episode of "Gossip Girl" will air on CW Monday November 19.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
