The 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather feud has been one-sided until Friday night when the world champion boxer threw a number of jabs at his former friend via Instragram and Twitter.

It all began when Floyd revealed that Lil Wayne’s Young Money, Rick Ross’ Maybach imprint and his own the Money Team would be collaborating on new music. Next came the subliminal retweet from Fif’s rap foe Ross which read; “We the new Money team #Tmt #MMG #oilmoney,” an obvious reference to 50’s declaration that he was no longer a part of Floyd’s outfit.

Things got worse as the prize pugilist mocked 50’s headphone company SMS Audio by tweeting “SMS = Snakes Maneuver Slick” and “SMS= Sisters Managing Sports.”

Still the insults didn’t end there. Floyd then took to Instagram publishing photos of the G-Unit CEO with some pretty disparaging remarks. “A male boxing groupie.. hold my belts because your album sales have declined,” Mayweather wrote with a picture of 50 holding the boxer’s championship hardware.

“F--- boy you look cute in that jacket,” Mayweather wrote next with a pic of the “In the Club” MC in the same Money Team jacket which he said he’d sell for $1 earlier this week.

Floyd continued to pour on the insults writing: “I respect the shooter not the one who got shot,” in reference to the 2000 incident where the star rapper was shot nine times and then fired off another jab which read: “Hold my money F--- Boy” with a picture of 50 holding stacks of cash while the boxer hovers over him.

Meanwhile on 50 was busying using his Twitter to bait Floyd into a match with his fighter Yuriorkis Gamboa. “GAMBOA MOVING UP IN WEIGHT FLOYD. You should have know not to go against me PUNK,” he tweeted before throwing more shots. “I can’t hang out with Floyd no more,I’m tired of running from manny pacquiao.”

The rift between the two former friends have been building ever since Fif announced he would be going into business with Mayweather’s boxing rival Manny Pacquiao in September, but many have question if the beef is real or cooked up to promote future fights.

Do you believe the 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather beef is real? Let us know in the comments!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
