Devlin is a name that fans of grime music will know very well. From the age of 15, the Dagenham-born star always found a way to jump on sets at the top pirate radio stations around London, namely Rinse FM. Even back then, Devlin had an impressive way with words, and his delivery was up there with his mentors and close friends, such as Ghetts, Scorcher, Wretch 32, O.T Crew and Roll Deep.

In 2006, Devlin released his Tales From The Crypt mixtape, and that’s when he had officially arrived – albeit on an underground level. Since then, he has put out a handful of well-received mixtapes and EPs, got signed to Island Records, was blogged by Kanye West, and he has a few top 40 singles and a silver-selling album in the form of Bud, Sweat & Bears under his belt, too.

In the run-up to his second album, A Moving Picture – which is due to drop in 2013 – Devlin recently hooked up with his former crew member in The Movement, Wretch 32, for his new "Off With Their Heads" track. The production has an orchestral feel to it, allowing the intelligent rappers to flow with ease. The art form of rap is far from dead, clearly.
