On Monday night (October 22) the 16th annual Angel Ball was held at Cipriani Wall Street in NYC, bringing out the celebs in flocks. Just returning from their Italian getaway, fashionable twosome Kim Kardashian and Kanye West made an appearance at the cancer research fundraiser along with Ashanti, Nelly, Solange, and Tina Knowles who also hit up the event.

Kimye stole the show last night as they were surely dressed to impress.  With Kim in a deep cut blue gown and Yeezy rocking a black suit, these two were more than camera ready. Sporting a look reminiscent of Angelina Jolie’s 2012 Oscars ensemble, Kardashian (or should we say Kanye) paired black ankle strapped Thierry Mugler heels with her thigh-exposing cobalt blue dress. While Kanye finally stepped out of the leather pants and went for a more classic black  and white tux look, which complimented his girlfriend’s outfit perfectly.

In full support of Denise Rich's Gabrielle's Angel Foundation, couple Ashanti and Nelly also looked picture perfect on the carpet, matching in all black. Solange, Tina Knowles, Wendy Williams, and Angela Simmons joined in to support the cause as well funding medical research for prevention and treatment of Lymphoma, Leukemia and other related cancers.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
