Halle Berry Admits That She's Related To Sarah Palin

Last week we learned that Justin Bieber, Ryan Gosling and Avril Lavigne are distant cousins, and that spawned a little research to turn up some more unlikely, yet related celebs but here’s the most surprising one so far: Halle Berry and Sarah Palin. It felt wrong even writing that, but that’s the word according to Berry herself.

In an interview with Extra, the actress, who currently appears in “Cloud Atlas,” dropped the bombshell. “You wanna know who I'm related to? Sarah Palin!" she said laughing. "That's what I said, 'Nooo!' Some twisted way -- somebody sent me this information that she was my distant [relative]."

How long were you planning on keeping this information under wraps Halle? We hope that Sarah Palin never gets a hold of this information, because we can’t imagine her passing up the chance to use this to her advantage.

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
