And he even made a music video for it? If Snoop Dogg's transformation into Snoop Lion confused Dr. Dre at first, we're wondering if Pharrell thought it was a good idea to have "Drop It Like It's Hot" remixed into "Pocket Like It's Hot." Snoop stars in a three and a half minute video ad for Hot Pocket, complete with guest appearances and video girls...eating their Hot Pockets.

The brand has apparently suffered a decline in sales in the past few months, and who did they decide to reach out to, but Snoop Lion? The song's remix (which includes verses from DeStorm Power and Andy Milonakis, who both appear in the video) is odd enough but add to it the full length music video and we're sort of wishing that this is just another pop star prank of the week.

Mary J. Blige might have some thoughts on it.

What do you think of Snoop's new Hot Pockets ad?

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
