Kanye West has never been shy about rapping about his relationships, and a snippet from the upcoming single  "White Dress," proves that that's not changing anytime soon.

A snippet of the RZA -produced "The Man With the Iron Fists" track was pushed out online on Thursday (October 11) and judging from the one-minute sampling, 'Ye really pours his heart out, reminiscing over a love lost. "Remember I used do things that'll make you laugh/ Like order a girl drink in a masculine glass," the G.O.O.D. Music mastermind spits over a finger-snapping soul beat.

The soundtrack to RZA's new kung-fu flick starring Russell Crowe doesn't drop until October 23, but fans may get the full Yeezy track sooner than that. MTV News caught up with the Wu-Tang Abbott on September 29 at the red carpet for the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta and he couldn't be more excited about his current collaboration with 'Ye. "Kanye went in, he got a song called 'White Dress,' " RZA said before rapping the hook out loud. "I seen you in the club in a tight dress/ But I picture you in church with a white dress."

The song's snippet cut off before the hook comes in, but judging from West's lyrics, the relationship is all peaches and cream. "You the type of girl that deserve a new last name/ But they never let us do our thing/ Everybody lyin' on who I banged," he rhymes.

"Kanye's a dope lyricist, but what he did on this particular song, it ain't 16 bars, he's going like how Ghostface goes," RZA told us. "Like, 40 bars, just goin'. He's goin' and he's killin' it, yo!"

Check out everything we've got on "The Man With the Iron Fists," out November 2.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
