Amy Winehouse Featured In Nas' 'Cherry Wine' Video

Nas follows the emotional video for "Bye Baby" with visuals for his Amy Winehouse-featured single "Cherry Wine" from Life is Good. Although the clip finds Nas keeping his eye on a certain beauty in the bar, the video's director found a way to incorporate the late singer, having her projected onto the stage of the venue, singing the song. (Nas recalls 'magic moments' working with Winehouse)

Winehouse and Nas had a dynamic working relationship, and he thought it was necessary to have her featured on Life is Good. "It was important for me to have Amy because that's what we were doing. That was the direction me and her were going in, to work," Nas told MTV News. "It's hard to talk about it because she's missed and she's one of a kind. I think it's a magic moment between us, me and her, and may she rest in peace and love."

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
