Gatecrasher’s flagship hyper-club Gatecrasher Birmingham celebrates a monumental 4th birthday this September and to celebrate in style GATECRASHER is opening its doors for a series of special events to celebrate 4 years at the forefront of the clubbing industry.

Built on the principals of innovation and diversity and fuelled by its upfront vision, GATECRASHER has propelled dance-music into the hearts of millions. Beginning life in 1993 at Birmingham’s Engine Rooms to becoming a world-conquering global clu...
b brand, Gatecrasher has continued to push boundaries and dominate dance music for 18 years. One of Gatecrasher’s key goals was to create the best ever nightclub and after opening clubs in Sheffield, Leeds, Nottingham and Watford, the Birmingham club was finally conceived in 2008.

Every moment in Gatecrasher’s history led to the opening of Gatecrasher Birmingham. The club which took over 5 years to plan is Gatecrasher’s crowning glory. Gatecrasher Birmingham defines the Gatecrasher brand and is the epitome of everything Gatecrasher stands for. Since opening in 2008, the club has attracted over 3 million visitors and is renowned the world over for its technologically advanced light and sound systems , awe inspiring interior design, state of the art production and cutting edge line-ups.

Gatecrasher’s continued loyalty to its fans, and ongoing desire to deliver a once in a lifetime experience every night has put Gatecrasher Birmingham firmly on the map. After just four years in business, the club has been ranked amongst the best club in the world by superstar DJ such as Swedish House Mafia, Laid Back Luke, Paul Oakenfold, Deadmau5, Calvin Harris, Roger Sanchez and more.

For Part 3 of GB’s 4th Birthday on Saturday 13th October Gatecrasher revisits the glory days of Trance with the return of one of the biggest themed nights to have graced the dance music scene, the Red & Black night is back! As Gatecrasher celebrates its 19th Birthday, GB is pulling out all the stops to make this a night to remember.

In order to encapsulate that euphoric atmosphere that is synonymous with the Gatecrasher brand, it was only right that we brought back 3 of the original residents. The residents that witnessed week in week out the thousands of loyal Crasher followers that descended on Sheffield to the hallowed dancefloor of The Republic and GC1. The 2 legendary residents Judge Jules and Scott Bond.

As the theme for the event is Red & Black, there is a strict dresscode that everyone attending the event must wear at least one item of clothing that is Red or Black.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
