Will Wiz Khalifa’s controversial O.N.I.F.C. album cover stop fans from going to see him on tour? We highly doubt it. Wiz and his Taylor Gang crew are getting ready to hit the road on their “2050 Tour” in North America. The Pittsburgh rapper will be running rampant through 36 cities joined by Juicy J, Chevy Woods, Lola Monroe, Tuki Carter and Berner, beginning the tour on October 12 in Pennsylvania.

The tour dates come with some bad news, though: Wiz's album will now be pushed from its anticipated September 18 date to an unspecified release.

The first single from O.N.I.F.C., “Work Hard, Play Hard," has already gone platinum and there is no doubt Wiz will be playing hard with his fans on the tour to celebrate. Tickets for the “2050 Tour” will go on sale this Friday, September 7 on Wiz’s official website, www.wizkhalifa.com. Also, check out Wiz presenting a Moonman tomorrow night, Thursday September 6th, at the MTV Video Music Awards.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
