Chris Lighty Dead At 44: Hip-Hop Community Mourns Beloved Mogul

Music mogul Chris Lighty is dead at the age of 44 in what police are ruling as a suicide, and the news has left most of the industry in shambles. Lighty, founder of Violator Entertainment, was a manager to countless stars and rappers like Saigon and Fat Joe who were particularly upset by the news. "If this Chris Lighty sh--  is true, that just f---ed up my whole YEAR. He was my manager for 2 years..." Saigon wrote, later adding, "I had many managers over the course of my career, But Chris Lighty share the most knowledge with me... R.I.P Baby Chris.. Hip Hop is crying."
