Kreayshawn

has been riding off the success of her breakout hit “Gucci Gucci," and keeping busy with shows and features in between, but on September 18, the Bay Area rapper is set to release her studio debut album Something ‘Bout Kreay. The LP is led by the single “Go Hard (La.La.La),” which was accompanied by a comedic and trippy music video late in July.

The colorful artwork for Something ‘Bout Kreay includes photographs and off-the wall illustrations that the pint-sized rapper thought would get her message across. "I wanted an album cover that would really help to represent me and who I am," she said, explaining the design. "Something that, when people first see it, they'll say, 'Only Kreayshawn could think of a cover like that.'"

Kreayshawn’s “Go Hard” video has already garnered over a million views on Vevo since its debut on July 24. She’ll celebrate the album’s release with a performance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on September 17.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
