Michael Madsen Down To Work With Quentin Tarantino Again

[url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/39278/personmain.jhtml"]Michael Madsen[/url] has had the pleasure of lending his respective talents to some of Quentin Tarantino's most iconic flicks, "[url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/movie/28954/moviemain.jhtml"]Reservoir Dogs[/url]" and both "[url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/movie/231208/moviemain.jhtml"]Kill Bill[/url]" movies. Now, regarding his roles in those films, there's always chatter that he just might get the chance to reprise his roles of Mr. Blonde and Budd.

It's chatter Madsen has heard, but in his meetings with Tarantino in the last few years hasn't been able to nail down any confirmations regarding a third "Kill Bill" film, or the Vega Brothers flick, which would follow Mr. Blonde who happens to be the brother to John Travolta's Vincent Vega in "Pulp Fiction."

When MTV News chatted with Madsen this week, he seemed up for something, if something should ever come along on either of those fronts.



"Well, when it comes to Quentin and you're asking these kind of questions, I mean he never really has a clear answer. You know he'll usually go on for 45 minutes and never answer the question," he explained regarding "Kill Bill," before launching into the future of that Vega Brothers film.

"It's kind of like the Vega Brothers thing," he continued. "He's been talking about Vega Brothers for how many years now? I mean it's just kind of like 'Alright.' First it was supposed to be a sequel then it was supposed to be a prequel and then it was supposed to be some other thing where me and Travolta were supposed to be twin brothers of the characters from 'Reservoir Dogs' and 'Pulp Fiction,' which is kind of crazy. But in a way I guess it's Tarantino. If anyone can get away with that, it's him."

In fact, if Travolta isn't available for any possible rescreen re-imaginings of the Vega boys, Madsen offered this suggestion, "But, you know, I could play my twin brother. That'd be fine."

Soon, the conversation turned back to "Kill Bill," where he shared he doesn't know if it could ever happen or what that would look like. "But I don't know [about] making the 'Kill Bill' thing. He was saying that he was going to do like every year or every couple years, he was going to do like another version or an update or another 'Kill Bill' chapter sort of thing," he said. "But I think sometimes… he's a thinker. He's always trying to get something made. You got to stop and realize really actually making another chapter of 'Kill Bill' is a little kind of a, you know, what would the story be? It would be far from me to try and figure out. I know it's been talked about and he's mentioned to me and I've heard that before. But you know whether or not it's actually going to happen … who the hell knows, nobody knows I guess."
