'Breaking Dawn' Stars Headline MTV News Comic-Con Live Stream

We've been telling you for weeks that MTV Movies Blog, MTV Splash Page, and MTV News will be your most important hubs for all things [url="http://www.mtv.com/specials/comic_con/"]San Diego Comic-Con[/url], but we've kept one big surprise secret until now.

MTV News will be coming to you live from Comic-Con June 12, 13, and 14 at 1 p.m. ET/ 10 a.m. PT on each day. Josh Horowitz will be your host, bringing you all of our latest coverage from the convention, as well as, some interviews from the biggest stars.

Each day will be packed tight with guests and surprises. We kick off the festivities this Thursday at 1 p.m. ET with an entire live stream dedicated to all thing "[url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/movie/457372/moviemain.jhtml"]Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2[/url]." Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner will be all sitting down to talk with Josh about the final movie of the beloved series. Later in the broadcast, the rest of the cast will stop by, including Mackenzie Foy, Elizabeth Reaser, Peter Facinelli, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone.



Friday will take a look at some of the biggest action movies hitting the con with the casts of "Dredd" and "The Expendables 2" stopping by for interviews. Plus, Tim Burton and Sam Raimi will talk about their upcoming projects.

For the final day of our live stream, we're pull out all the stops for our grand finale featuring the casts of "Elysium" (Matt Damon and Jodi Foster), "Looper" (Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emily Blunt), and "Total Recall" (Jessica Biel). Plus, Damon Lindelof will act as Josh's co-host for the day and share details about his next films.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
