We are a little less than two weeks away from the return of "Breaking Bad," and AMC has just debuted its first full clip from the fifth season.

While the video doesn't contain any major spoilers for the first episode, there are some glaring references to season four's finale, so if you haven't caught up, go watch that instead.

SPOILERS

The clip takes place in the aftermath of the nursing home explosion that took out Gus Fring and helped solidify Walter White's new status as a straight-up bad guy.

Check out the clip after the jump!

Something "Breaking Bad" has always succeeded at is a pitch-perfect use of dramatic irony. As Sklyar and Walter, Jr. return home from Hank and Marie's, the chemist's son tries to fill him in on everything he did at the end of season four.

As Skylar deftly points out, Walt already knows.

If you're worried about seeing too much from the episode before it airs in two week, there's no need. The clip only touches one aspect of the fall-out from the explosion and has nothing to do with the larger plot of the episode. We recommend taking a peek only to get a small "Breaking Bad" fix if your craving is too strong to wait until two Sundays from now.

But if you decide to hold out, we promise the wait will be worth it.

"Breaking Bad" returns to AMC on July 15.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
