Exclusive: '21 Jump Street' Hits Blu-ray And DVD June 19

One of the biggest hits from the first half of the year and MTV Movie Awards nominee, "[url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/movie/449677/moviemain.jhtml"]21 Jump Street[/url]" is now headed to Blu-ray and DVD on June 19 with an all-new unrated version of the movie.

[url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/379429/personmain.jhtml"]Jonah Hill[/url] and [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/380573/personmain.jhtml"]Channing Tatum[/url] star as two of the worst cops on the force. After a mishaps during an attempted arrest, the two officers are sent undercover as high school students to get to the bottom of a drug ring. The film originally opened to some of the year's best reviews and currently sits as the fourth highest grossing movie of the year.

The Blu-ray and DVD discs features a commentary track from the director and the cast, twenty-one deleted scenes and nine behind-the-scenes featurettes including a blooper reel and a look at Johnny Depp's cameo.

Behind-the-scenes featurettes include: Gag Reel, Cube-O-Rama, Back to School, Brothers In Arms, Johnny Depp On Set, The Rob Riggle Show, and Peter Pan on the Freeway.

"21 Jump Street" earned six nominations at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards including Best Cast, Best Comedic Performance and Best Fight.

"21 Jump Street" hits Blu-ray and DVD with UltraViolet on June 19.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
