There hasn't been much revealed about the upcoming fifth season of "Breaking Bad." We know that it will be eight episodes long, splitting the usual order between this season and a final sixth season. We know that Walter White went darker than ever before at the end of season four, and we know that we're slowly dying while having to wait for the summer premiere.

A new video from the set of the fifth season in New Mexico does little more than remind us how excited we are to have the show back. If anything, it's just nice to see Bryan "B-Cran" Cranston back in his old Walter White bald-goatee combo.

Check out the next teaser after the jump!

The teaser comes compliments of TV.com, and features both Cranston and Aaron Paul talking about how fantastic season five will be. After the explosive and face-offy season finale last fall, they really don't need to convince us of anything.

There are some serious season four spoilers ahead, so if you don't want to know what happened, you should probably go watch "Breaking Bad."

The penultimate season of the show will put it largely in unfamiliar territory. After the implied events of the last finale, we're going to find a fully broken bad Walter White when the show returns this summer. Sure, we've seen him do some sick stuff in the past (You're welcome, "Don't Trust the B---- in Apt 23"), but nothing really compares to poisoning a young child to manipulate your former partner. That's pretty low.

Regardless, we have to trust Paul on this one. Everything seems to be pointing toward season five as the "craziest" season yet, but we have a feeling that by the end of it, we might be adding "darkest" to the list of superlatives.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
