'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' Director Lands In 'Secret Location' In Today's Twitter-Wood

As you might already know, [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/486743/personmain.jhtml"]John M. Chu[/url] directed "Step Up 2: The Streets," "Step Up 3D," "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never," oh, and this little movie you might have heard is coming out this summer called "[url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/movie/476760/moviemain.jhtml"]G.I. Joe: Retaliation[/url]"! The film is currently in post-production, but when we saw Chu write that he landed in a "secret location," our minds immediately asked: "Cobra lair?!" Hey, "[url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/movie/390422/moviemain.jhtml"]Marvel's The Avengers[/url]" shot an extra scene after the film already premiered—it could happen!

Also in May 3, 2012's Twitter-Wood, [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/264748/personmain.jhtml"]Rainn Wilson[/url] tweets his thoughts about "The Hunger Games," [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/249517/personmain.jhtml"]Emma Roberts[/url] is obsessed with "Girls" and [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/271878/personmain.jhtml"]Simon Pegg[/url] wants everyone to live long and prosper.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
