The "Savages" trailer you've all been waiting for is here! With an all-star cast including Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Johnson, Blake Lively, John Travolta and Salma Hayek, our expectations are high and the trailer hints that they'll be met.

The scintillating preview of the Oliver Stone flick opens with O (Lively) stating: "Just 'cause I'm telling you this story doesn't mean I'm alive at the end of it. It's that kind of a story where things just got so out of control."

O and her two boyfriends, Ben (Johnson) and Chon (Kitsch), are living the high life. Literally. They run a flourishing marijuana business that spirals out of their control when a Mexican drug cartel tries to partner with them and they decline. The cartel's leader, Elena (Hayek), has O kidnapped in order to get Ben and Chon to comply with their demands. What happens next is a whirlwind of shooting, explosions and a scene where Kitsch stabs Travolta that even made us cringe.

Take a look at the trailer for yourself and we think you'll agree: this is one summer movie you'll want to add to your must-see list. You can catch "Savages" in theaters on July 6.

Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
