Sometimes words are so beautifully spoken that to supplement them with commentary would mean doing an injustice to the orator's original brilliance.

That is not the case with Arnold Schwarzenegger's interview with ComingSoon.net about the upcoming "Twins" sequel, "Triplets." The quote is so perfect, so unintentionally hilarious that we need to present it here in a new segment we call, "Arnold Schwarzenegger Explains the Joke."

"I would love to do another 'Twins,'" Schwarzenegger said when asked if there were any past characters he'd like to revist. "As a matter of fact, we've been talking about doing one and it's called 'Triplets.' I'd find somebody like Eddie Murphy or someone that people would say, 'How does that happen, medically speaking?' and, 'Physically, there’s no way!' Then, somehow, we would explain it. That would be hilarious with what we know about someone like him."

If you've ever heard Schwarzenegger's DVD audio commentary on some of his other films, you understand this isn't just a one-off spell of awesome. This is pretty much how Schwarzenegger talks, and it's perfect.

We just hope that Schwarzenegger provides the audio commentary on the DVD of "Triplets," if the movie ever comes to fruition. It would probably end up being the most in-depth discussion of why it's funny that two Caucasian men and one African American man can be not only brothers, but—get this—twins.

Wait...we don't get it.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
