'Savages' Trailer Tease: Taylor Kitsch Falls Into The Pot

Super awesome news alert: we're premiering the [url="http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1682446/savages-trailer.jhtml"]trailer for Oliver Stone's "Savages"[/url] right here on MTV Movies tomorrow! Ahead of that, we've got an exclusive sneak peek at the trailer in the video below. Check it out!



Based on Don Winslow's novel of the same name, "Savages" follows weed-slingers Ben and Chon (played by [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/315970/personmain.jhtml"]"Kick-Ass" star Aaron Johnson[/url] and [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/448882/personmain.jhtml"]"John Carter" favorite Taylor Kitsch[/url]) as they go up against a Mexican drug cartel who've kidnapped their mutual girlfriend, O, played by [url="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/369042/personmain.jhtml"]Blake Lively[/url]. Additional cast members include John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Salma Hayek and Benicio Del Toro.

Yeah — this one's going to be a good time.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
