"We are saddened to learn of the toxicology results, although we are glad to now have closure," Whitney's manager and sister-in-law Patricia Houston said in a statement to the Associated Press.

During a recent interview with Oprah, Patricia Houston explained the sequence of events that took place on the day of Whitney's death. "She'd been asking for me all morning. ... Usually I go up and see her and that was one day I didn't,” Patricia said, detailing the scene as she made her way to Whitney’s room, "and I hear screams. I kept walking very slow.
