The news of Whitney Houston's sudden death continues to rock the entertainment world as do the subsequent details surrounding it. Now, all eyes are now on 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina (Houston and ex-husband Bobby Brown's only daughter), with concern for her well-being in light of the tragedy.
Reports surfaced late last night that according to law enforcement sources, Bobbi Kristina showed up to the Beverly Hilton several hours after Whitney's death. According to E Online, Bobbi Kristina Brown was eventually rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA, where she was treated for stress.

When officers told her that no one was allowed to see Whitney's body, Bobbi understandably grew irate, screaming and demanding to see her mother. When this didn't happen, she eventually left. Another source adds that Ray J, who has been romantically linked to Whitney on and off for years, consoled Bobbi Kristina at the hotel at this time. E reports that Bobbi Krista was rushed to the Beverly Hilton hotel at 10:28 a.m. on Sunday, meaning that she returned after her initial visit.

Jawn Murray, a longtime journalist who has interviewed Whitney over the years, told Fox that mother and daughter were extremely close, even until the end. “Less than a week ago, Bobby, his girlfriend Alicia, their new child, Whitney and Bobbi Kristina were all photographed having a family dinner. (Brown and Houston) still liked each other as people, and got along very well for the sake of Bobbi Kristina.” He added that Whitney and her daughter had a strong, loving bond. “They had a relationship that really resembled the relationship that Whitney Houston had with her own mother, Cissy Houston," Murray said. "Whitney loved her daughter. Bobbi Kristina was her only child and her pride and joy. Because of that, she treasured her.”

Fans from around the world have taken to Twitter with the "Pray for Bobbi Kristina" hashtag to send their condolences and prayers.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
